Mergers: Are no longer accepted.

Blockade rules: Those wishing to Bnav in a blockade must bring their own ship or ships. And they must also pay the jobber fee in advance for each ship they bring to the blockade. Crazyj will do the math for you depending on size of the ship and jobber pay per seg. and round you intend on staying. Being knocked out early or sunk is your fault and there is no refund. Not bringing all the ships in you paid to bring in will get you a refund for them ships not used. Got any questions? Ask Crazyj.

Crew Articles

What are we all about? We're about puzzle pirates and the business there of. That means we'll be doing pirate stuff. Including blockades. Now there is many things to do in puzzle pirates and we expect high ranking officers to help organize events. The Captain can not do it all. This is a team effort. If you're not a team player then you need to make your own crew.

There is many commands used for chat. /fo being the most common for officer chat. Please learn all chat commands and ask someone if you need to learn what all these commands are.

Flotilla's we prefer nonsinking or the grey ones as they are known. Red ones are sinking. You can risk your own ships in sinking, but not others without permission.

Sea monster hunting is sinking also. Same rule applies as with Flotilla's. And you need a badge.

Event blockades are encouraged. Be picky. They are nonsinking most of the time. One round is plenty. Join those that have a fair ship advantage. Blockades, are declared by Royals and Monarch. They are sinking most of the time and we don't do them unless we have the man power, ship power, and money power to do it right.

Trade: We love trade. We hope you do too. Gem running is a big thing. Be sure to Mem all the routes/charts and you'll be rich in no time. Also, makes you look good for promotion.

Donate: Time in pilly's etc. This is how we get to know you better. Also, donate some poes for worthy causes. We'll love you for it.

When in doubt ask someone.

Be about recruiting. Be picky. Check them stats. But don't discriminate just because they are green. *laughs*

Remember life is short. So enjoy it. You never know when your computer may crash.

Rules

  1. Use PTB before boarding ships at sea. Example: In crew chat say, PTB Pretty Guppy. Reply in crew chat say, yes or no.
  2. When recruiting tell new recruits to read the rules posted here and explain PTB to them ,if they still don't get it.
  3. Don't sell any stock in any unlock ships that don't belong to you. Unless the ship belongs to you and you know the stock was abandoned by someone else.
  4. Always check unlocked ships holds before using them. Because you need to replace any stock you use, if you use that ship.
  5. Don't beg for poe etc.
  6. Don't demand rank. Rank will not be given out freely just because you joined. Rank is earned around here.

Stealing: Stealing from stalls and unlocked ships is a big mistake. First we'll ask you why you took it and then ask you to replace what you took. If you refuse you will be reported to the Ocean Master and banned. Your computer will be flagged/tainted and you won't be playing ever again on that computer puzzle pirates. Next would be griefing and flaming. Or just being down right annoying as heck to other people in the crew/flag. This will get you expelled from the crew/flag.

Ships: Always ask the owner of a ship before using a ship that is unlocked. Always restock the amount you used and port at the same port you left from unless you have permission to port else where. Always ask permission to board (ptb) a ship that is at sea. We don't want people boarding supply ships. Why? Because the more people on a ship the more likely it will be targeted by an AI ship. Which means we waste time evading and fighting off the attackers when our main goal is to get to the island as quickly as we can.

Punishments for breaking rules:

  1. Warning and explanation. We tell you to stop and then we tell you what you did wrong and how not to do it again.
  2. Demotion for repeat offense.
  3. We expel you for multiple offenses. Which means 3 strikes you're out.

Promotions

You start off as Cabin person and may be promoted to pirate after your first week in the crew. Promotions to Officer is based on a few things. Number one have a ship and some good stats. Don't ask to be promoted just because you have an Officer's badge. Having a badge doesn't make you an Officer or any other rank, until we decide you are worthy enough to be granted the promotion. Fleet Officer and Senior Officer promotions are reserved for the more elite fighters and loyal commanders. People who help the crew often doing all types of tasks. People who donate dubs, poe, and time to our causes.

  • Cabin person: I don't know who you are and you have no stats at all.
  • Pirate: You have some stats and I might know you. Which means if you are an alt. and you need to let me know who your main character is.
  • Officer: People who own at least one ship and have some decent stats.
  • Fleet officer: Trusted people that own ships, stalls, or have been with the crew for a very long time and help out a lot.
  • Senior officer: Crazyj's when he feels like saving poe/dubs on badges.
Notes: Ship ownership gets you rank, but having that ship unlocked for crew use assures most of the time you get to keep that rank. Even when you are away for long periods of time.
