Scruff's Raiders was a crew on the Sage Ocean. It was founded on April 25, 2006.
Public Statement
Welcome to SCRUFF'S RAIDERS
We do not allow begging on this crew please do not do it.
PTB Permission to Board is required in Scruff's Raiders. If you see a ship out at sea you are required to ask over crew chat if you can have PTB and wait for an Officer on board to say Granted. There are exceptions to this rule. PTB is not required for any ship that is in port, nor is it required if an Officer advertises for crew over crew chat. PTB is however a good habit to get into. A ship may be being used to transport trade commodities using bots as crew, however short your time aboard a bot will be removed, please do not board a ship without permission.
OIC - When you are on a ship the Officer that granted you permission to come aboard is the Officer in Charge or OIC. You must show respect for the OIC. If you are asked to work a certain station you should do your best at the station. If you prefer another station you can let the OIC know, but it is not always possible for you to get it. DO NOT ASK TO GUN OR NAVIGATE, if guns are needed the OIC will most likely ask if any one can do them, if you are good then is the time to offer your assistance.
Lazing - While on a vessel at sea you must be on a station at all times, if you need to take a small break for any reason you must let the OIC know that you will be gone for a bit. If you need to leave the vessel you MUST tell the OIC you need to go . You cannot leave during Sea Battle, doing so can result in demotion and in extreme cases expulsion from the crew. Teaming - Teaming in battle is essential. If you do not know how to team ask an Officer as soon as possible. All Officers are willing to help you learn how to help win battles during a pillage. Should you have a problem with any person in the crew no matter who it is, you are more than welcome to take your problem to Captain Scruff or if I am not available any SO.
DO NOT ARGUE OVER CREW OR VESSEL CHAT obey the OIC . This applies to all crew whatever the rank. If you want to join my crew just ask me or one of my officers.
Promotion Requirements
Ranks are based on the following:-
- Cabin person: Just join
- Pirate: Must be with the crew for at least a week, unless you have very good stats.
- Officer: Four piracy stats at broad respected and a crew member for at least two weeks.Two week rule waived if you have a ship but you MUST HAVE STATS.
- Fleet officer: Four piracy stats must be at least solid/respected and have a ship and the trust of all senior officers, nav stats would be an advantage.
- Senior officer: All of the above and have good skills and be hard working and have the trust and respect of myself and of the other SO's
