History

The SEA MEERKAT MAGIC was founded on the 1st of July, in 2008, on the former Hunter Ocean.

This crew was formerly captained by Meerkatman.

Yaaaaawns...Are ye bored and tired of little pillies with only a few pirates on baby ships, and that is all that can be done since nobody is patient enough to wait for more to join a real pilly? Then our brilliant crew is where ye will find the BIG action - little ships too, but also the BIG ships for real pillies with BIG poe...

We invite all Flag Crews to join our regular GRAND FRIGATE pillies - type: /fbroadcast and your message to send inter Flag Crew messages. As King I wish to meet all our crews and this is great on pillies and also at my estate for socials - please DO feel welcome and requested to attend - thank ye!

Senior Officers may now use unlocked Grand Frigates on request from King Meerkatman. No other lower ranks may under any circumstances use these or they will be demoted and even expelled. Senior Officers will be held responsible for Grand Frigate use on their pillies. Very important - only port at Aimuari and Pukru islands. If any crew notices anybody who is not a Senior Officer using a Grand Frigate - report this to any Senior Officer or to Meerkatman for a reward fer yer information thank ye.

All jobbers - ye will be paid more in our lovely crew when ye join - and ye be most welcome here - we hope to see any pirate on our regular Grand Frigate pillies!!!

Titled Member policy when joining our Flag: ** A crew with passion and ambition may join our flag - send any ROYALS a tell - one Titled Member (TM) Lord / Lady for the Captain of the crew.

All King Meerkatman's unlocked crew fleet ships may only be used with the condition that they are ported at the following islands only: Aimurari, Quetzal or Pukru islands. This is explained at the wheel / helm in the officer notes on each ship.Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate demotion and possibly being expelled. The crew ships are available for crew use and so must be easy to stock at these islands. Thank ye fer yer team work.

CREW RANKS AND GAINING RANK:

NEVER PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER (PVP) ON PILLAGES UNLESS YE HAVE A BATTLE NAVIGATION (BNAV) OF MASTER OR UPWARDS - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL OFFICERS AND FLEET OFFICERS - CHECK THE SETTING IN THE PILLAGE TYPE TO ONLY BE FOR BARBARIANS OR BRIGANDS AND DO NOT SET IT FOR PVP UNLESS YE READY - THIS CAN HAVE VERY BAD RESULTS FOR THE WHOLE CREW IF YE LOOSE TO OTHER PLAYERS SO ONLY DO THIS IF YE ARE VERY EXPERIENCED PLEASE!! THANK YE FOR YER TEAM WORK.

MAKE SURE YE STOCK YER PILLAGE WELL PLEASE - OR YE CAN LOOSE RESPECT FOR YE AND THE CREW FROM ALL ON YER SHIP AND LOOSE BATTLES.

RECRUITING!!!

For those who recruit for rank - ye must please keep a list of all the names of new recruits - it will help gain ye rank - almost like a trading card.

Very important - if ye can't afford a badge do not ask for the rank promotion OR poe to buy a badge...part of being promoted is showing that ye are able to afford yer responsibilities and for Officers and up, that ye can afford to buy pilly stock! It is expensive keeping rank, so please do think about this very well before accepting or requesting and rank thank ye!

If ye want a quick promotion - this crew is not the place for you - since getting rank is not only about statistics or recruiting, but about crew management, trust and loyalty! All ranks are asked to keep the crew alive and keep recruiting each pilly - ask after and during the pilly if anybody wishes to join - after all, the more crew we have the faster we can recruit for pillies and that means more poe and fun for all in less time!

CABIN CREW - almost evicted / ex meerkat - this is if ye get demoted as punishment , it could be fer a short time only - the next step is being expelled possibly - ye don't want to end up here I assure ye...

PIRATE - Meerkat Baby / Pup: Ye will be a pirate / pup when ye first join our MIGHTY CREW - stats do not matter here at this rank really - but it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED to practice with the navy doing missions and doing many crew pillages for experience.

OFFICER / Meerkat Juvenile / Teenager: Stats for this Rank are:

** THE MOST IMPORTANT STAT HERE IS BEING ABLE TO SAIL A SHIP IN BATTLE NAVIGATION - SO MAKE SURE YE BE READY BEFORE ASKING FOR THIS RANK THANK YE!

3 BROADS AND 2 SOLIDS in ANY of the following Piracy Skills AND AT LEAST 3 DISTINGUISHED RANKINGS - ** ONE SOLID AND DISTINGUISHED IS A MINIMUM FOR BATTLE NAVIGATION (BNAV):

SKILLS LISTED BELOW ARE THE ONES LOOKED AT FOR OFFICER:

Any Officer MUST be able to manage a pillage, so management skills are a big benefit here - officers who do not warn and just plank on their pillages will be punished - crew morale is important here.

- ** Battle Navigation (b - nav) - MUST HAVE at least solid and distinguished here OR BETTER...

- (Sword fighting, Rumble and Treasure Drop are not included and do NOT count for this rank). IMPORTANT for this rank - Make sure ye read all notes at the wheel of any unlocked crew ship...

FLEET OFFICER / Meerkat Sub - Adult: This will be up to the Captain and the Commanding Senior Officer. They will decide if yer trusted enough and have the right stats.

THE MOST IMPORTANT STAT HERE IS STILL BEING ABLE TO SAIL A SHIP IN BATTLE NAVIGATION - SO MAKE SURE YE BE READY BEFORE ASKING FOR THIS RANK THANK YE!

Any Fleet Officer MUST also be able to manage a pillage even better then an Officer, so management skills are ESSENTIAL here - Fleet Officers who do not warn and just plank on their pillages will be punished like with Officers - crew morale is important here.

3 SOLIDS AND 2 WEIGHTY'S in ANY of the following Piracy Skills (AS LISTED ABOVE) AND AT LEAST 3 RESPECTED RANKINGS - ONE MUST BE IN BATTLE NAVIGATION WHICH MUST ALSO BE WEIGHTY (BNAV).

A period of 2 weeks in the crew - but this is negotiable depending on each pirate. IMPORTANT for this rank - Make sure ye read all notes at the wheel of any unlocked crew ship...

SENIOR OFFICER: AND ABOVE - YE MUST BE ACTIVE EVERY FEW DAYS IN SENIOR OFFICER AND ABOVE - YE WILL NEED TO RECRUIT AT LEAST ONE CREW TO THE FLAG AND FOR TITLED MEMBER ANOTHER, ROYALTY ANOTHER ETC. YE MUST BE ACTIVE EVERY FEW DAYS IN THE CREW AT THE LONGEST OR LOOSE YER RANK...!

SENIOR OFFICER / Fully Grown Meerkat Adult: The Senior Officers are handpicked...paw-picked by the Captain - Meerkatman - a very old meerkat! GREAT STATISTICS BETTER THEN FLEET OFFICER RANK AS ABOVE- BUT NOT ONLY HAVE GREAT STATS - Host Pillys on a regular basis. Recruit many new members to the Crew. GET TO KNOW THE CREW AND HELP WITH ANY POSSIBLE CONFLICTS...

Nagging for rank will usually mean ye take longer to get it. Send Meerkatman or a SENIOR OFFICER a tell if ye feel ye are ready, but if ye are told to get a certain stat first, don't keep asking until ye have it thank ye - training with the navy and doing many crew pillies is an excellent way of getting yer rank up!

Becoming a Meerkat Lord or Meerkat Lady and later Meerkat Royalty as a Meerkat Prince or Meerkat Princess demands that ye stand out in the crew as a SENIOR OFFICER, with a very good standing with all - especially Meerkatman yer Captain and King and very old meerkat! For example take many pillages, recruit often.

** Recruit a crew into the flag, or have another crew merge with ours - this will earn you BIG respect and trust from the Captain AND HELP IN DECIDING FUTURE PROMOTIONS.

ROYALTY: Reserved for the best of the best Lords and Ladies - the above and more - the Captain's choice is not based on statistics but rather crew management here and involvement with the crew.

CREW RULES:

THE BEST IS TE HAVE YER OWN SHIP WHICH YE KEEP LOCKED - KEEP YER STOCK THERE, STOCK UNLOCKED CREW SHIPS FER YOUR PILLIES AND THEN SEND THE STOCK BACK TE YER LOCKED SHIP FER STORAGE OR SELL IT. THIS WAY YE NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEFT - SIMPLE.
  • In crew chat...No swearing in any language, or cover up swearing of any kind, no fighting - keep that for tells if ye must, do not spam especially during events. If ye have issues or problems to discuss, please do not clutter up crew issues with these - rather use tells. If ye are being offensive to our crew members ye will only get one warning, then be expelled and muted. This is a crew for happy, friendly and supportive team pirates only!
  • Officers must show respect to each other - do not go bossing each other around - remember officer's worked hard to get their rank - please be polite at all times thank ye.
  • Always Listen To The OIC (Officer In Charge) also known as XO (Commandind Officer) of any Pillage ye may be on.
  • Do not steal money from unlocked ships! The ship records all entires and exits of goods - ye will be caught if ye steal - so don't bother!
  • Do not beg for PoE or Promotion. Ye’ll be promoted as soon as you get the correct stats - Exceptions can be made though in special cases.
  • Never PVP unless, Ur Respected+ In BNaving - be aware not to PVP our Flag Crews!!! Check this under our crew Flag information.
  • Keep the chat Clean!!! Any problem with another crew member? Discuss it in the /tell chat!
  • All Officers that want to go on a Pillage, need to read the Officer's Bulletin Board for a full Briefing of what ye can or can not do with the ship.
  • VERY IMPORTANT!! Always PTB - ask permission to board a ship if another is on it.
  • IF ye do not wish to stock unlocked crew ships - then ye must please use yer own locked ship!
  • Do NOT use a ship in Flotilla without Permission of it's Owner!
  • Please note that if ye just leave the crew, you may loose rank or not be invited back - our crew is based on loyalty and respect for others - please check this if ye leave thank ye.
  • Leaving a pillage once it is involved in a battle is also very poor team play - what happens is the enemy ranks have a better chance of winning then - please try wait to the end of the battle before leaving.
  • It is also NOT good manners to tell the officer in charge how to run the pillage that they created and are paying for - ye will almost certainly get planked - give orders on yer own pilly
  • Do not ask to battle navigate unless ye be invited, this is rude, ye can battle navigate yer own pilly if ye like...
  • SEA MEERKAT MAGIC Crew ye can improve yer stats and rise in rank right on board our ships - or do your navy missions!!!
  • A Caution to any Lazers...if ye do not have the time to go on a pillage - DON'T GO...
  • Just like a Wild Meerkat, if it does not work in the team, it will be chased out - ANY Meerkats on any SEA MEERKAT MAGIC CREW SHIP are expected to do their share - or they will be EVICTED - planked from the Burrow Network.
  • If a pirate breaks any of these rules - this WILL lead to Demotion and even being Expelled

  • Click on the opposing team's head and place your dot on it.
  • In a Swordfight, make teams of 2 and 3, In Rumble, make teams of 3 and 4.
  • After ye have killed an opponent and during the fray, check where your dot is and make sure to be always teamed up with others.
