Promise was a crew that sailed the Sage Ocean. The crew flew the flag of League of Light.
History
The crew Shadow Shell was founded on October 7th, 2008 by Lime and Jauni. On December 7th 2008, it switched name to Promise.
Public Statement
Hello, welcome to Promise! hope you are havin' fun with us =P
Rules concerning ranking is listed here:
Cabin person: Anyone who joins automatically gains this rank. We do not have any requirements to people wanting to join our crew.
Pirate: To be promoted to pirate we require at least the rank of distinguished in gunning, as well as broad in two other duty puzzles. When you are a pirate you will be able to practice bnav with FO, SO or captain.
Officer: To become an officer in Shadow Shell we require that your stats are promising. This indicates at least distinguished battle navigation as well as the minimum of respected in all classic duty stations. In addition four broads and two solids are requirements.
Fleet Officer: The only way to become a FO is through the monthly clean-up days! =)
Senior Officer: To attain the rank of senior officer is hard work, and given to a fleet officer after discussed amongst the captain and the senior officers. This position also brings with it a lot of responsibility, as for being the position second in command after the captain.
Captain: you are allowed to dream about it <3

The Clean Up- Day: The clean-up day is a monthly event where the SO in charge of it goes through all the pirates in crew stats. everyone who doesn't fulfil the requirements will be demoted and everyone who deserves to be promoted will be promoted as well. The Clean up day is also the only opportunity for an officer to rise the rank of Fleet Officer. The Officer that shows a combination of good work-ethic, skills, friendliness,responsibility and leadership will be chosen. The SO promotion is very rare, and will only be given to a fleet officer that shows excellence in character.
