Head-to-head gunning contest

4 prestige points for Prestige and PoE will be awarded in a gunning contest happening on August 19 at 10 AM Pirate Time. Gunners will compete head-to-head to see who can load 16 guns the fastest in a double-elimination contest. Each flag must supply their own war brig ported at Alpha stocked with medium cannonballs. During each pairing, you will enter sea battle against your opponent, enter a gunning station, load 16 guns, leave your station, enter the nav station, and fire all 16 guns. You will be timed from when you first enter a gunning station to when you last leave one with 16 guns loaded. There will be a judge on board to record your time. The winner of the event will receive a sloop, a fancy ribbon, and 4 prestige points for their flag.

Flag champions

Each registered flag may choose a flag champion to compete in the race. Specify your flag champion by adding a line to the table below by copying the sample and changing the fields. You must select your flag champion by August 19. They will be jobbed into the event crew 20 minutes prior to the start of the event.
