Pleun
Pleun is a pirate on the Midnight Ocean.
Also known as Pleuny and Fantasyfan, and posting on the forums as fanta.

History
Pleun, who is from the Netherlands, started playing puzzle pirates in May of 2004, and shortly after subscribing joined Fun House. After about 2 weeks she was starting officer training. A few weeks later Fun House left the flag it was in, and started it's own flag called Renaissance, which, after a little while, led to a split up of the crew. A large group of Fun House members left Fun House and started Monkey Militia. Pleun stayed in Fun House, but put an alt in Monkey Militia.
Pleun finished her officer training and became an officer somewhere during the summer of 2004. And in the fall of 2004 she became a senior officer. Around the same time Fun House gave up on Renaissance, and after a period of independence, joined Elysian Fields. This didn't last long, when big problems arose in Elysian Fields, Fun House left. Shortly thereafter, Fun House found a home in Nidiata dei Draghi. Pirate life was good there for many, many months, and in June of 2005, Pleun became a princess in Nidiata dei Draghi.
Shortly after this, circumstances lead to Pleun also taking on temporary captaincy of Fun House. At elections in July she was voted permanent captain until the next elections. This was no surprise as there were no opposing candidates. However Fun House was a dying crew by then, many members had already left. Either to start their own crews, or because of some of the problems that had happened before. An attempt to rebuild Fun House failed, and in the fall of 2005 Pleun and the senior officers decided to stop trying. After careful considerations Fun House unofficially merged with Monkey Militia. The empty Fun House crew was kept around for sentimental reasons, and returned to former Fun House captains. Leaving Nidiata dei Draghi was hard for Pleun, so she decided to leave an alt, FantasyFan, in Evening Star of Nidiata Dei Draghi. Which is still there, even after Nidiata dei Draghi merged with Broadsiders.
In Monkey Militia, which was in Elysian Fields at the time, Pleun was made princess of Elysian Fields. Some time passed, Pleun became first mate, a little more time passed, and time came that Monkey Militia found themselves wanting different things then Elysian Fields. Parting as friends, Monkey Militia became independent for a while. Then after trying 2 different flags, it was decided to join Carpe Noctem, where Pleun and all of Monkey Militia remain happily until this day.
Pleun also has been running a distilling stall since august 2004, had a tailoring stall for little over a year (2005 mostly), and is now running an apothecary stall since July 2007. Pleun was also a active member of Gladiators, which was formed to oppose Notorious Fandango. Even after Gladiators disbanded, Pleun remained an avid opponent of Notorious Fandango, because she felt they were bullies, forcing their fun on others, without considering that not everyone finds the same things fun, and many of the plans of Notorious Fandango hurt the small pirate, or annoyed the masses.
