Biography
Pearbeard began his piracy of the Cobalt Ocean in April 2006. A fast learner and dutiful pirate, he elevated the ranks within the Dragon's Nest Navy. Once he achieved a modest standing in his piracy skills as a greenie, he took to pillaging the seas as a jobbing pirate. Pearbeard found himself consistently jobbing with the crew Kiss My Wrasse on ships under the command of Ravindraven. His exemplary performance on these jobs earned him the respect of Ravindraven, and Pearbeard readily accepted the invitation to join Kiss My Wrasse as a cabin person.
After a few weeks, Ravindraven set off to found the Dark Ravins with his most trusted mates from Kiss My Wrasse -- Meems and Pearbeard. When it was possible, Pearbeard was immediately promoted to senior officer in Dark Ravins. Pearbeard remained one of the most loyal and trusted members of the crew and its captain. During his time as senior officer, Pearbeard commanded his own ships, was an executive officer for other officers, and provided officer and puzzle training to the crew. He had also held the position of captain of the Dark Ravins for the length of one week, and he was a titled member of the crew's flag -- Jolly Roger Trading Co.
In the month of September 2006, Pearbeard disappeared from the Cobalt Ocean due to other worldly reasons. He remained dormant until June 2008. At which point he was a senior officer in Valkyrie Rising of the flag Risen. Due to Valkyrie Rising's severe dormancy, Pearbeard left the crew and returned to the seas as an independent pirate, where he was sought after by a handful of crews.
After much thought and some convincing by Jaytee and Willelmus, Pearbeard joined the ranks of the Serial Pillagers of the flag The Art of War. Pearbeard began his career with the Serial Pillagers as an officer. He was promptly promoted to fleet officer once he received the official training. And after proving himself as a capable officer and navigator, he was promoted to senior officer.
In late 2008, Serial Pillagers was in need of an active captain to take the reigns of the crew. Pearbeard was nominated by his fellow senior officers and accepted. He served as captain for the next 6 months until, yet again, other worldy obligations drew his time away from the seas. At which point, he appointed his right-hand pirate, Sassythang, to be his successor.
He presently resides on Terra Island in a cottage enjoying chocolate chip cookies with his pet cat (Poirot) and dog (Bosc).
