Nunataq-Insel is an outpost island in the Crab Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: The Beaufort Islands, Messier's Crown, and Qaniit Island.

This island's name comes from the Inuktitut language and refers to a mountain top sticking out of a surrounding glacier.
