Beaufort-Inseln is a medium island in the Crab Archipelago. There are two known routes from the island: Nunataq Island and an inter-archipelago route to Alkaid Island in the Ursa Archipelago.

History
Small rocks in the northwest tip of the islands read, "This island were fashioned by Argonaut."
This island is named for Francis Beaufort, British naval hydrographer and inventor of the Beaufort Scale.
