History
Morgan Island was originally located on the Malachite Ocean. A rock near the cowslip spawn at the south-eastern corner of the island reads "This island were fashioned by Sseth."
Morgan Island most likely gets its name from Henry Morgan, a Welsh privateer and buccaneer who made a name for himself in the Carribbean during the seventeenth century. He also lends his name to a brand of rum called Captain Morgan.
