Interested in joining? Speak to an Officer or the Captain; all ranks are allocated at the Captain's discretion. Officer+ positions amongst the crew are only given to those who are skilled at Battle Navigation.
The rank of Officer is only given to those who are officers in training (midshipmen); FOs don't require trust - It's simple: You steal with yer FO privilages = you get banned by an OM.
