History

Kingdom of Wu was founded on August 14th, 2009 by Rabbito. He established it as a safe haven for neutrality on the Viridian Ocean. It is named for both the empire of China's Three Kingdoms Era (founded by supposed descendants of Sun Tzu himself) and the Wu Tang Clan (founded by the Rza.)

A message from the captain:

I've been playing this game for a long, long time. I've been in many crews, spanning many flags on multiple oceans. I've met some amazing people who play this game above and beyond what you might expect from a goofy game about pirates who solve puzzles. And today, I realized something: Every good time I've ever had with my fellow pirates has been ruined by politics.

Sure, some people think the political game is fun. I get that. But what's fun for you isn't fun for everyone. And sometimes your fun is stomping all over the fun of the casual players, guys. Sure, it's great to control islands and form alliances and what have you, but don't make the game as a whole into a deadlock just because you like to be in power. Because you guys aren't the only ones out in the blue.

This kingdom is all about the fun. We're mercenaries for hire. Jobbers out to make poe, win trophies and have a great time. Hired hands that will gladly jump aboard on a blockade just for the pay and the promise of a good sinking or two. But don't come near us with your polytricks. Because where's the fun in that?
