Ipanema was founded in the year 2009 on August 2 by Captain Pavarote as, with help of Poccoloco, Evolutionn, Tethy, Goldschmidt, Hevn, Victorsfc, Arthurr and Dedeh.
After some time, Pavarote had to leave Puzzle Pirates for personal reasons, and passed the captaincy to the experienced Arthurr, who left his old crew (Command and Conquer) to be part of a new crew where several friends got together to create and win of illustrious fame in 16 days.
Pavarote came back, but with great difficulty caused by real life. However, the crew didn't have a problem because they couldn't to be destroyed. With the help of the flag Vanguard, Ipanema was finding its way using the Poccoloco as ambassador to communicate with the flag.
