Igneous Pneuma is an independent, mighty, dormant crew, captained by Mattchewy, that sails the Emerald Ocean. We are currently recruiting, so ask join and you will be accepted into our superb crew!
Igneous means fiery, and Pneuma means pertaining to the spirit!

History
As I (Fignet) Recollect it:
- It began on the former Hunter Ocean when myself, Mattchewy, Babydee, Jandlay & a few more were in the crew Neptunes Wraith (defunct). Myself and Matt had become Senior Officers in this particular crew.
- As it happened Matt became rich rather fast, and bought a lot of ships and expensive things. I liked to pilly more, getting down and getting results, Babydee and Jandlay were more in this spirit as well. As group, we elevated Neptunes Wraith (defunct) to 6th in fame rank on the Hunter Ocean and the Flag: Neptunes Royal Wraith (defunct) to 11th in fame rank.
- Matt & I started to get bored with our surroundings. We felt we were supporting the captain too much, and decided that we should go our own separate ways and make our own crews.
That was the beginning of Igneous Pneuma.
I leave space here for others of the crew to write in what happened next, because my own story slips away from that of this crew's until March of 2009.
Aseawarrior was formerly captain before stepping down for Mattchewy to run 'Igneous Pneuma again. Also, this crew once flew the colours of the flag Neptunes Storm Riders.
Promotion requirements
- Cabin Person: Ask any Officer or above to join the crew.
- Pirate: Generally anyone.who joins the crew will be promoted to pirate on joining. Two bold duty stats are recommended to show you are familiar with the puzzles.
- Officer: Broad/Respected in Sails, Carp, Bilge, Guns, And Duty nav. Special exceptions for those with a ship.
- If given rank of Officer with ship you will have the title of Midshipman. You will not be allowed to take one of the unlocked ships out on a pilly until normal requirements are met. You will of course be allowed to do as you please with your own ship.
- Fleet Officer: Have a standing of Broad/Master in all duty puzzles. You will need to be with the crew for a minimum of 1 week and have the trust of the captain.
- Senior Officer: No duty puzzle requirements, but you must have been with the crew for a significant amount of time and have the trust of the captain. (Given by invitation only)
