Ignazio
Ignazio T. Murkwater
Confident and stealthy, this pirate is always out and about.
Ignazio has been a senior officer and first mate of the crew -Chase's Fury-, senior officer and lieutenant of New World Order, and is currently an officer in -Lust for Blood-. Plundering the Hunter Ocean, he hopes for riches and fame, same as any other greedy pirate.
He was born in the port of Quetzal Island, not remembering much of his family. Overworked by his drunken father, he left home as soon as possible. Finding work at a local tavern as a fisherman, he was given only the necessities in return.
While fishing on the rickety dock, he would often gaze on the horizon, watching ships trade, battle, and sink. He found piracy interesting ever since he was a boy. Many ships ported and unloaded thousands of Pieces of Eight and other valuable cargo. One day, a small ship with many holes in its hull came to port at the little dock where Ignazio sat. He watched them, and learned a lot that day. He asked if he could join them.
As the ship deported, he glanced one last time at the place he was born, only to see his father turn away in disgust. He quickly learned the ropes and took a liking to carpentry. On his first day he was awarded incredible carpenter, and couldn't wait to run a pillage of his own.
Ignazio learned that being a pirate is cruel. Many men and women got terrible diseases, and he had to watch so many die, whether slain by his own sword, or as they fought along side him. He soon wondered if his life as a landlubber was what he had really wanted. He often found himself sleeping in the hold with the gun powder. With his loyalty, hardwork, and trust, he quickly rose through the ranks. He became first mate of his crew, but wanted more.
Today, pirates can find him on a sloop by the name Half Anchovy, and if they are lucky, maybe even join him on a pillage.
