Falmari
Falmari is currently living it up on the Malachite Ocean. There is a Falmari on every ocean, but she considers Malachite her home. Falmari started playing Puzzle Pirates on Dec 25, 2003 and totally blames her sister (who no longer plays) for her addiction.
A Somewhat Brief History...
In the begining Falmari was known as Lashana, a firey, half human half elvish, pony-tailed flirt. Being a huge bookworm and *somewhat* dorky in nature, she was instantly drawn to a crew called House Atredes of the flag Knights of the Republic (flag). Blissfully unaware of any drama or politics, she was content to just puzzle and flirt her way around the Midnight Ocean. As her dependency wasn't fully cemented yet, she would tend to wander away from the game for brief periods of time. One time after a brief break from the game, she discovered that a new ocean had been created! The Cobalt Ocean had opened up and thus Siona was born. Siona joined the crew known as the Ramen Noodles and the cycle of puzzle-break-puzzle-break was continued on both oceans. When the doubloon ocean opened, it drew little interest for Lashana/Siona. She was just content to play the puzzles and wonder at the new additions to the game. (She didn't discover the forum aspect of the game until much later in her pirate career and the doubloon model was a complete mystery to her.) It wasn't until sometime in late 2007/early 2008 that Falmari was born. Continuing her tradition of naming her charaters from books, the name Falmari came from The Silmarillion and means sea-elves. Being a fan of pointy ears and pirates, it seemed like a great fit. Wandering around the ocean she was picked up by the crew Nefarious Miscreants under the flag Infamous Rapscallions. It was here that her pirate career really took off. Under the guidance of Spinbad and Dexla she started to learn things about the game that she hadn't known before. She even managed to learn how to not drive a ship into the rocks most of the time! Just as she was really starting to get the hang of it, RL reared its ugly head. The break was longer then most and when she came back, she discovered that most of her crew had moved to a new ocean called Malachite. Creating a Falmari there within days of the ocean opening and witnessing first hand how an ocean got its start was amazing to Falmari, but she didn't join up with her old crewmates right away. There were so many new crews and new hearties to discover, she did the most sensible thing she could think of...crew hop until she found a "right fit." She spent time in numerous crews and made friends with many people. In the process she learned a great deal about politics and blockading. Eventually she came back to the Nefarious Miscreants and they welcomed her with open arms.
