Emerald drinking league
So you think you can drink?
The Emerald Drinking League is the brainchild of Knotthead, the piratey son of a debauched alcoholic father & buxom tavern wench serving the fine residents of Admiral Inn, as a young dock rat he hung out in bars from as far afield as the Scallywag Inn, to the Sword & The Stone upon the rocky outcrops of Tigerleaf Mountain, before finding his home amongst the scantily clad beauties of Sho Girl's the former drinking haunt of Shodan, now the deeds pass along no one singular owner beyond a year. Such was Cleaver's decree.
It was at these very bars he witnessed clashes of titans & the whispered myths of RobertDonald's red octopus won after a long night boozing. The swirling legendary clashes of Moedefoe & eternal foe Urdama. But those are names for a bygone age, livers that have been pummeled into submission, breeches beyond stained.
Many now will recall such pirates as the highly decorated Justu, a name known amongst the rocks of Cnossos, to the snow-capped trees in far of Whistler and even amongst the long decaying ruins of Port Venture. The ocean's most decorated trophy gatherer, to the demure lady Amzn hidden relentlessly behind a veil of mystery but a toned belly that's put Seventeenth, Derail and all their like into slumberous sleep on a given night.
Thus you're all formally invited to the first meeting of the EDL where the laughter & maybe even tears will flow as endlessly as the rum. So claim your stake as Emerald's most devout follower of Dionysus.
Who shall be our victor will it be the octopi enshrouded Famousgrouse, possibly even Mr Sublime Jaytei himself, or even that most violent and tongue-lashing of drinkers Tulsatinker.
As they'd put it: "Are you ready greenie, nub lucker?"
Rules
The rules of the EDL are as follows:
- To qualify for the league, you need only join the discord & register links are on the official YPP discord as well as available if you /tell Knotthead
- Treat your fellow competitors with respect while on discord, personal attacks and un-sportsmanship behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Yer face must be recognized (No alts, main's only)
League Format
Each session will be a 5 game series following specific drinking rules, one point will be allocated per win with one bonus point per set.
