The group building

In the middle of the Reeuwijk lake area is the picturesque village of Sluipwijk. Here you will find the former village school, which has been redeveloped as group accomodation. The building offers space for groups of up to 46 people. For years this accommodation has been a place where families, friends, and associations can meet up. The location offers a great deal of privacy at a unique place in the middle of the Green Heart. Due to "noise regulations" it is not suitable for weddings or dance evenings (Ed: Keep quiet after 11 p.m., please)

The amenities

The building is tidy and has modern furnishings. The large living area and the adjacent terrace to the south give a beautiful view of the lake. There are two large dormitories (24 and 22 beds in bunks), four showers and three toilets, as well as the large living area. Furthermore, there is a large kitchen with pots, pans, kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery, etc. There is also a nature activity centre in the building, which for many years has provided active and relaxing programmes for companies, friends, and families. Examples include a wonderful sailing trip on the Reeuwijk lakes, or a splashing polder pentathlon. Groups staying here get a 10% discount on the centre's programmes.

The environment

Located in the middle of the Reeuwijk lakes (silence area), on the 's-Gravenbroek lake. From the location there are many options for walking or cycling. For guests, leaflets with walking and cycling routes are available. The neighbourhood has countless excursions possible, such as strolling in the beautiful medieval centre of Gouda and then visiting a terrace by the marketplace, the witch dunker in Oudenwater, or a visit to one of the many museums in the area. At all times of year, this is attractive for nature and culture lovers.
