Date & Location
- Date: 27-30 July 2007.
- Location: This is the place we will be staying at, Dutch Meetup July 2007/Reeuwijk Translation in the middle of the green heart of Holland.
We are renting a converted old school for the entire weekend; it has two large dormitories with bunk beds and sleeps 46 (24+22).
Programme
There won't be that many "scheduled" events, but everybody will be free to run a couple of small events for whatever size of group they like.
On Friday we will expect arrivals throughout the afternoon and evening; whatever time in the evening you arrive, the BBQ will have food for you.
Saturday is the main party day, with a full Indonesian rijsttafel dinner.
Sunday will be more quiet, with simple "big pan" food such as chili.
Everyone is welcome to stay on Sunday night; on Monday we will have breakfast and a clean-up session, and then go sailing locally if people want to.
Both before and after the event itself, we will have locations for people to go to: meet in Amsterdam on Thursday evening, visit Delft during the day on Friday, and head to Utrecht for dinner (or if you don't want to sail) on Monday.
Food programme
- Fri 1700-????: BBQ (veggy options available)
- Sat 0830-1000: Continental breakfast
- Sat 1200-1400: Continental lunch (including dutch pancakes)
- Sat 1800-2000: Indonesian rice-table
- Sun 0930-1100: Full English breakfast
- Sun 1300-2000: Leftovers, some big pots of chili, etc.
- Mon 0500-1000: DIY breakfast
