Drunk 'n' Crazy Pirates, previously Pirates Gone Crazy, was a crew on the Malachite Ocean. It sailed under the flag Crazy Twisted World. It was captained by Crazydadda with numerous senior officers.

Originally formed in July 2008, Pirates Gone Crazy led the flag Crazy Demons, and held the number one spot on the ocean for some time before the flag eventually disbanded. The new flag, Crazy Twisted World formed in April 2009, and intended to pick up where the previous flag left off.

As of September 28th 2009, Drunk 'n' Crazy Pirates had 50 full members.

The vast majority of senior ranks within the crew were held by mature players, some of which might be surprisingly old for an on-line game. Possibly for this reason alone, the crew did not tolerate silly behavior by it's members, and expected all members of the crew to act in a sensible manner.

One particularly important aspect of this behavior was asking permission to board before joining any vessel at sea. Hopping onto a vessel when you are not expected causes a number of issues, such as:

  • More crew members cause harder spawns, and harder battles may lead to loss of cargo and booty
  • Many hoppers tend to hop off again shortly afterwards, and the bot they displaced does not come back automatically. Because the officer in charge wasn't expecting the hopper, they are unlikely to notice the missing bot until it is too late, and they end up in battle short-handed
  • The officer in charge may not want to share any pillaged booty with you
  • There may be a private pillage or meeting occurring on board

Other annoying immature behavior, such as begging, lazing about during a pillage, leaving during battle, excess hearty or trade requests, or abusive language was likely to trigger the short fuses of many of the senior officers.

Most Recent Activities

The crew had a number of foraging boats, usually on station at Viper's Drop, Threewood Island, and Buyan's Vortice. The dedicated team of foraging officers tried to keep at least one foraging offer open at a time.

The crew maintained a chart library on Sensitive Tigerfish at Saltstraum Rock, which also acted a collection point for all of the limes that people gathered in the course of their everyday pillaging, from where they were taken in bulk to faraway markets to raise funds for the flag.

Crew Stalls & Shoppes

The crew operated a number of stalls of various types around the ocean, these are

Shipyards
Ironmongers
  • Messa's Ironworking Stall at Salstraum Rock
  • Theassassin's Destilling Stall at Salstraum Rock
  • Zeffie's Ironworking Stall at Salstraum Rock
Distilleries
  • Theassassin's Distillery at Salstraum Rock
Tailors
  • Annabonney's Tailor Stall at Salstraum Rock

Many of the crew stalls offer a discount to crew and flag members.
