Category talk:Third-party tools
Merge
Propose merger from Third-party tool, so that the list is on the article page, rather than as a 'see also.' That'd be enough to remove its stub, and I think more useful to readers. I didn't just go ahead and do it because I wanted to feel out people's feelings on heavier use of these category pages. --AtteSmythe 08:33, 18 August 2006 (PDT)
"Third Party Tool" and "Third Party Tools"
Why are these two listed under the list of third party tools? Isn't it sort of redundant? Or am I over-looking something? Zyxt 17:15, 6 September 2006 (PDT)
- *whistles innocently* I don't know what you're talking about ;) --Guppymomma 17:18, 6 September 2006 (PDT)
Spirit of the game
- Know the Terms of Service, and make sure the application's function does not break them. The main thing to keep in mind is the "spirit of the game" rule.
I think the addition of spirit of the game here is problematic. I'm not clear why it should be more important than the rest of the ToS (especially 6.13). --Alfwyn 17:37, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Proposed reorg
In the light of such non-tools as JazzTime and Shanty Raid-io, it occurred to me that we could do with more descriptive categories. Should we create an umbrella cat such as Category:Third-party media, under which is placed the "tools" cats? Then it would not be so awkward to fit in the aforementioned non-tools.
