Epi, I rolled out your changes because I was in the middle of a major edit. They were, I believe, the addition of the pig and lion graphics. The pig went into the table nicely, but separate pictures for each type of big cat was something for which I didn't plan. I'm more than willing to work on it, though, if you have suggestions. --AtteSmythe 15:44, 2 August 2006 (PDT)
- You also rolled over Thunderbird's edit of sound descriptions (apparently Big Cats make the same sounds as Cats), but I have no suggestions on the multiple Big Cat images. Technically, they're just different "colors" of Big Cat, so they're not completely necessary... --Rixation(t/c) 15:47, 2 August 2006 (PDT)
- Yep, I missed that edit. Gads, how I hate the conflict edit page. --AtteSmythe 15:49, 2 August 2006 (PDT)
- Whenever I get the "conflicting edit" warning, I just open another tab with the Recent Changes page, see what got changed, then append that to my edit before saving. Either way, on thinking a bit more about the table, the "Sounds" column doesn't necessarily need the redundant pet name, it could simply list the sound that's given, just to condense it. As it is, 800x600 resolution with that table does...odd things. --Rixation(t/c) 15:56, 2 August 2006 (PDT)
- That's exactly what I did, but I didn't know the time at which I'd started editing, and there's no way to find out. So I only diffed the last edit instead of the previous one. I added some nowrapping to the sounds column. Feel free to play with it, I'm done for today. --AtteSmythe 16:01, 2 August 2006 (PDT)

Is the latest addition on the top line regarding the furniture items necessary, since they are already in the "See Also" section? Seems very redundant. The same question also applies to the latest entry on Animal. --Rixation(t/c) 13:20, 6 August 2006 (PDT)
- The 'This article refers to' should probably have familiar added to it, as well. --AtteSmythe 15:32, 6 August 2006 (PDT)
Governors and pets
Conquest tells me that she can have 5 pets that can roam the isle. --Piplicus
- It's already in the article: An island's governor can set up to 5 pets to roam outside on the island. --Thunderbird 12:02, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
- Sorry, I fail. I did actuallt try to read it, I did, honest! --Piplicus
Rat Colors
There are more than 7 primary rat colors. This picture: http://www.dracolair.com/ypp/6rats.jpg
shows 6 colors (not including yellow & white, also the brown is definately of a lighter smokey-brown color than the example given). Is the russet colour the one missing?.
- Thanks for this comment - I would've missed the darker brown one if not for it. There appear to be nine colors, identical to the cat's secondary, and with the addition of black. I renamed "tabby" to "tawny" for the rat, since the definition fits and it seemed much more appropriate. --AtteSmythe 14:31, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
Individual Pet pages
Shall I go ahead with creating individual pages for each pet, or just redirect them to here? If I can get colour charts for each they would be at least as useful as the trinket pages. --Angelbeaver (talk) 16:41, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
- Color charts for everything but the elephant (in progress) are already posted in the table. I think you're right that the pages for individual pets could be as useful as pages for individual trinkets. --AtteSmythe 16:44, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
- Err, Thats a go ahead right?--Angelbeaver (talk) 17:22, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
- As far as I'm concerned, aye. If someone disagrees, they'll mark it with a potential delete, and we'll have a discussion as a community. I think it'll be fine, though. --AtteSmythe 19:20, 15 August 2006 (PDT)

Limited Edition Pets
I added a separate area for limited edition pets, rather than leaving the simple note under cats. Major price difference, and limited time, made me feel it deserved a separate section. --Sashamorning 07:45, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- I think that's a very good call, and clean implementation. Thanks! --AtteSmythe 10:08, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
Time for someone with a lot of PoE buy the White Elephant and add it. --Arminius 21:46, 14 June 2007 (PDT)
- /me shudders at doing the white elephant colors graphic. Maybe this weekend I can find the time to do it. --Guppymomma 22:04, 14 June 2007 (PDT)
- I'm just obsessed and it was easier than I thought as I could use the template. --Guppymomma 22:19, 14 June 2007 (PDT)
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that even though the doubloon price list shows two more limited edition pets, they shouldn't be put on the wiki until they're seen. I've already made that change. Sashamorning 14:18, 20 June 2007 (PDT)
I just found the following 'My pet' templates GCPP big cat and Crookshanks. I didn't even know they existed before. --Alfwyn 12:37, 1 March 2008 (PST)
Crabs
The generic name for a crab is Karkinos just as the generic name for a dog is Dog. Should we adjust the table to call it Karkinos rather than "crab"? --Barrister 11:40, 6 February 2008 (PST)
- I just put crab as I thought that Karkinos was what the user had named it. I do agree that does sound more appropriate. Klostro 11:46, 6 February 2008 (PST)
- Just as a heads up, Wikipedia states that Karkinos was the name of the crab that bit Heracles' heel in his battle with the Lernaean Hydra, but was crushed under Heracles' foot in the midst of battle. With this in mind and the ringers using greek mythology all the time, the crab is most likely called Karkinos, and not crab. (Just as a heads up) --Makingpoe 1:18, 6 February 2008 (PST)
