Resistance Is Futile is a crew on the Viridian Ocean.
It was formed under the name Resistance is Futile (Abbreviated as RiF) on the 18th of December 2007 by Bobbyyb with the assistance of Strd and other members of Craneos Ardientes. It had several mergers and continued to be an active crew. By March 6th 2008, it had reached the 8th crew rank on Viridian. A few months after the crews creation , the crew disbanded in June 2008 due to issues within the crew. However, it's been refounded by Bobbyyb on 26th January 2009.

"I think once I came back to this game, I realised that I love having a crew of my own and that I put enough effort in this game on a daily basis to run a successful crew each time I make one. Back in January, when I rejoined Puzzle Pirates, Hoverr and I branched out from Die By The Sword to create the "new" Resistance is Futile. Sometimes people ask me what the difference was in the two. I feel that the new RiF is filled with people of lots of talents and experience. It's way more close-knit and is being run at an optimal level. As you can see It hasn't even reached half the members the old RiF has had yet it has been ranked higher. Metaphorically speaking, I feel the old RiF was just a spark as compared to the new RiF, being a cluster of sparks. The crew has a solid base of experience with adroit people driving it on each day. It is certainly not as Captain dependent as the old RiF was. I think what stands out the most in us is that, we are a huge semi-elite crew that are active. I feel that we are one of the best crews out there in terms of stability and ability. We can definitely give others more than just a run for their money. Fair Winds" - Bobbyyb
