History

Radiant Exile was created on June 11, 2008 by Sparferru of Chachapoya Island in the Hunter Ocean.

On July 11, 2008 the baghlah Conceited Cod was built and added to the fleet, creating the flag ship of the flotilla. A day later, the flotilla traveled from Chachapoya to Aimuari Island.

On August 18, 2008 Radiant Exile won the Alkaid island blockade event.

On Saturday,August 30th, 2008, Soncaroomega was made captain of the crew.

Flag Ship and Home - The Baghlah

The baghlah Conceited Cod is the flag ship for the crew. It serves as a home and provides lodging for Sparferru and his crewmates. A home away from home, decked out like a childhood treehouse with all the fun fixings, including booze and guns, to shoot at other boats. How many homes can do that?

Public Statement

Mercenary voyagers that uphold The Pirate Code while stealing PoE, goods, and the hearts of others.

They are a crew of fun loving pirates, key on the having 'fun' part. Definitely a bit of piratey RP going on, but this is a pretty casual group. Though, kindness and a little courtesy goes a long way.

Currently looking for good pirates and officers, including training for new officers.

Statement of Independence

Being a mercenary group, the crew Radiant Exile operate as such without any sole allegiance to any one flag. Rather, they operate by taking jobs onto other crews or flags. Radiant Exile operates under their own flag, only as a means to create alliances with other flags for blockade purposes.

They also work as a group of jobbers, offering themselves together to job for any ship paying enough to hire them. Such would be good paying blockade jobbing, or pillaging, for example, but not limited to such.

There is no use in inviting the crew to join a flag, it's no use. Asking them to job or work for you, that's a different story fortunately.

Flag Articles

Radiant Exile does not handle random alliances, they feel willing and able to work with almost any crew, unless on a job that involves working against a crew. In that case, it's just business.

It is noted that the crew has some alliances with a select few other crews. These crews were previous crewmates, or friends of Radiant Exile. Unless both sides 'want' to PvP battle on the open seas for fun, then they'd be game.

Extended Public Statement

Remember: Be nice to each others, and have FUN dangit, 'tis a game, not RL!

The captain is keen on helping the members of the crew out, always willing to train and allow those within to get the experience needed from pillaging the high seas, to rolling over the land lubbers.

Although the crew is autocratic, everyone pirate and above can put ideas up to the Captain for further discussion, voting, or enforcing.

Promotion Requirements

Cabin Person - The naughty stool, or anyone who really REALLY wants to be one. Can be fun at parties.

Pirate - Everyone and anyone ends up here. Well, those not actually sailing a ship anyways. Pirate badge only needed if you ever want to Navigate at any time, or don't want to have to be ordered to be able to gun.

Officer - Must have an Officers Badge to sail a ship, as well, must have 'bold' labelled skills (not experience) in Sailing, Bilging and Carpentry. This is a midshipman ranking for training to become a Fleet Officer.

Fleet Officer - The members of the crew that can run pillages for the other Officers and Pirates. After training as an Officer, or you already know the ropes of sailing, you are ready to be a Fleet Officer. Must have 'bold' experience in Gunning, Dnav, and Bnav. Also, a deal of trust is required when it comes to the holdings of unlocked vessels. Having your own ship is nearly a must. You MUST be able to run pillages.

Senior Officer - The right hand men (or ladies) of the captain. A great deal of trust is required to hold this position, as your rank may involve taking charge of things if the Captain is away. You must have good outside relations with other people (i.e. recruiting or PvP related issues). NOTE: given the nature of Autocratic crews, needing an FO badge is not necessary, just an Officer's badge to sail ships.

Captain - need not apply, unless I get eaten by a whale or kidnapped by The Widow Queen to become her husband. (Dream on!)
