Mortana is a fleet officer and damsel in the crew Dead Reckoning and a member of the flag Tainted Purity.

Biography
Mortana started as a pirate in January 2007. After completing training, she quickly found her talent was in Sailing and decided to join a crew for some pillages. After jobbing with - Poseidon's Wrath -, she decided she liked the atmosphere and joined full and became sailmaster. This title quickly became overshadowed by her achieving her ultimate at poker, and the card sharp title stuck with the development of her spades playing abilities.
After a lot of hard work, Mortana was promoted to officer, and bought her first ship, the sloop Well-informed Gurnard, which has subsequently been renamed to the Purple Princess Damsel. In possession of her own ship (after discovering a talent for Battle Navigation), Mortana now qualified to be promoted to fleet officer, and was promoted by Falkan shortly after encountering some restocking problems.
After taking some time out, she then moved on to Nitrous Oxide, where she helped Kory turn the crew private and started to XO for his atlantis runs. However, after some moral problems about a bounty taken up by that crew, she left to start bnavving for Dead Reckoning.
She has now achieved her long term goal of having the same nickname as her ship after getting the title of Damsel and a royal position in Luna Celeste.
She stayed with Dead Reckoning once they joined the flag Tainted Purity.
In her spare time, Mortana can be found playing cards or walking around Carmine Island, where she shares a cottage with Acilles and Bishopk.
She also enjoys fishing.
Recently, she lost both her eye and hand and, although Kory was responsible for one of them, she blames Hurly for both, following the old Sea Change tradition of "If something goes wrong, blame it on Hurly".
