History
One of the first independent crews, Le Freccette grew to a fair size but never swelled to huge proportions due to flexibility of membership. Before becoming an independent crew Le Freccette tried a few different flags including the now defunct The Union. Some of Le Freccetee's members included Rasberry, Xanth, Dosrev, Llordaerb, Toji, Kaptainkid, and Cortney.
"The Frec" was founded by Dartwith, a former senior officer of Pirates of the Damned and Llordaerb, a former senior officer of the Pastry Pirates. With the new crew, Dart began recruiting like mad and Llordaerb set out to sail in order to keep the crew entertained. With Dart's recruiting skills and Llordaerb's sailing abilities, the crew grew to an enormous strength. After a certain amount of time, Llordaerb and some fellow mates broke off to join Swift Retribution in the flag, Lost Legacy. But Dartwith remained strong and continued to run the crew.
After captaining for months, Dartwith took a long break from the game and handed the captain's hat over to Xanth who ran the crew fairly and wisely. During this time the crew tried flag affiliation for the last time with The Renaissance. The members of Le Freccette voted on staying independent. While he took captainship back for a brief stint, Dartwith soon gave Toji control of the crew and stepped down to officer, where he has stayed ever since. Under captain Toji, Le Freccette has grown to hold over fifty ships in its fleet.
Mission Statement
Le Freccette is a crew devoted entirely to freedom. With no flag to dictate what the crew does, and no rules to dictate what the members do, it allows for a freedom almost no other crew can obtain. Rank in Le Freccette is different from many crews. While senior officers and officers do have more freedom than pirates, everyone is treated as an equal.
