History

Greenwich Island is named for the Royal Greenwich Observatory, the basis of the Prime Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time.

Greenwich Island was originally located on the Sage Ocean. At this time, no island inscription has been found.

Along with Descartes Isle, Lincoln Island, and Wensleydale, Greenwich was one of the original four colonized Sage islands.
