Booty Lubbers is a crew that sails the Midnight Ocean, flying the flag of Crimson Tide. It was founded on 27 October 2003.
History
The Booty Lubbers were founded by Wildlilly during the beta development stage on the Azure Ocean in 2003. She left her former crew, Puzzle Pirates Academy, with a handful of close friends. They got their start in the flag Rudder Revolution led by Pennsuedo. Some time after the Midnight Ocean was opened, they moved to the flag Crimson Tide led by Misery. The small crew worked hard to contribute to the flag and was eventually awarded Miyu's Ribbons, a tailor shoppe on Xi Island. After a great deal of hard work as captain of the crew and chamberlain of the flag, Wildlilly no longer felt able to lead the Booty Lubbers and passed the captaincy to a senior officer named Freckles. The crew appears to have fallen on hard times with the majority of players dormant (as of 7th of April 2007 only one active member).
The Booty Lubbers are listed on both the Gaea Island monument and the Azure memorial on Alpha Island.
Public Statement
Mates in this crew are great friends and we offer no less to all who wish to join. We're a crew with a bawdy sense o' humour. If yer easily offended, don't job with us! We be recruitin' only those pirates who are over 18 and prove to be intelligent, friendly, curious, and eager to become an Officer. This isn't the crew fer mates who only wanna tag along on pillage runs. Thar be plenty o' big crews fer that.
Jobbers and potential recruits: Rudeness will result in yer being planked, so don't even board me boats unless yer polite. This isn't a slave ship and all friendly requests to switch duty stations will be taken into account. On the same note, this ain't the Love Boat either, and lazers will promptly be planked.
