Ambush Island is an outpost island located in the Osprey Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Jack's Last Gift, Mirage Island and Scurvy Reef.

History
Ambush Island was originally located on the Sage Ocean. A rock located to the northwest part of the island, due west of the cactus crop, has an inscription that reads, "This island were fashioned by Artemis".
Blockades (Sage)
Ambush I, 2007-05-19: The island was left uncolonized after the successful defense by Sage Needs a Large against the contenders Heaven's Demons and Creatures of the Deep, in a three round sinking blockade. The opening of Ambush was part of the event Choose your own island "opening"
In August 2008, Brynhild Skullsplitter took control of the island as part of its re-opening for colonization.
Ambush II, 2008-08-23: Cocktail Party colonized the island in a three round sinking blockade against the Brigand King flag Ice Wyrm's Brood.
Ambush III, 2008-10-25: Cocktail Party defended the island in a five round sinking blockade against the Brigand King flag The Enlightened.
Ambush IV, 2008-12-14: The island was successfully defended from the attack of No Parking in a three round non-sinking blockade.
Ambush V, 2009-02-01: The island was successfully defended from the attack of Wild Twisted Fun in a three round sinking blockade.
Ambush VI, 2009-02-08: The island was successfully defended from the attack of Wild Twisted Fun in a three round sinking blockade.
Ambush VII, 2009-04-04: The island was successfully defended from the attack of the Brigand King flag Black Veil in a four round sinking blockade.
Ambush VIII, 2009-05-30: The island was successfully defended from the attack of Ultimate Sagefire in a three round non-sinking blockade.
Ambush IX, 2009-08-02: Tea and Strumpets took control of the island in a three round sinking blockade.
