Scurvy Reef is an outpost island located in the Osprey Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Ambush Island, an inter-archipelago route to Isle of Kent in the Gull Archipelago, and an inter-archipelago route to Bowditch Island in the Stork Archipelago.
Scurvy Reef is the only island on Emerald that purchases coral gems.

History
Scurvy Reef was originally located on the Sage Ocean. An inscription can be found on the southernmost part of the island which reads, "This island were fashioned by Yngvild."
The Marketplace was added the week after the first Scurvy Reef blockade by the OM's following the introduction of gems to Sage. Scurvy Reef purchases Coral gems
Blockades
Scurvy Reef I, 2007-05-26: The island was left uncolonized after the successful defense by Sage Needs a Large against the contenders Heaven's Demons, in a three round sinking blockade. The opening of Scurvy Reef was part of the event Choose your own island "opening"
