2006 Rumble release events

The 2006 Rumble release events were a series of special game occurrences that began with the release of Rumble on March 30, 2006. They concluded with the finale of the "Fight Club" competition on April 3.
April Fool's Day
Continuing with the Ringers' usual practice of an April Fool's Day joke, 2006 featured a special selection of two hats that lasted for one day. Male and female "funny glasses" were available for purchase from the palace shoppe after the release of March 31. They were 10 PoE each. The glasses could be worn in portraits.

Along with the glasses, the official forums featured an April Fool's joke. On April 1, a parody forum (OceanMasters) was viewable in addition to the normal forums.
Fight Club
Following the success of 2005's Zombie Apocalypse, the release of Rumble featured an in-game competition. All accounts were divided into eight teams. Each player could contribute to his or her team's effort by challenging another player to a Rumble match. At the conclusion of the competition (at Midnight Pirate Time April 3), each player who had participated received a special trinket for his or her team placement.
