Viridian Crusaders is a dormant crew on the Meridian Ocean. The crew was originally formed by its former captain, Jollyjoe, on July 11, 2006 on the former Viridian Ocean.

Crew articles
Welcome to Viridian Crusaders. If ye wish to join us send a tell to Jollyjoe or any Officer. We would be happy to have ye. We do have some rules for all of our crew members and jobbers that are listed below. Violations of these rules will be dealt with as our OIC's see fit. Planking, dismissal, and demotion are some of the possibilities.
Rules for all crew members and jobbers:
- No swearing aboard any of our ships.
- Obey your superior officers at all times.
- Work hard and have fun!
Promotion requirements
Cabin person
Join the crew.
Pirate
Yellow name and at least one neophyte or above in sailing, bilging, or carpentry. Officers and Fleet Officers, ye can only ask them for promotion. A Senior Officer or I must approve it before their promotion will go into effect. If they meet the requirements we will promote them when we see the recommendation.
Officer
2 solids and 2 broads or above in sailing, gunning, bilging, battle navigating and carpentry. And permission of either myself, Cordova, or any Senior officer.
Warning: Do not bug these people for promotion or complain if they say not now or wish for ye to wait till they do some checking. And don't ask them what they are checking either. They will tell you if you need to know. And if I find out you bugged them about promotion I will personally demote you and may even expel you from the crew. I do not want these pirates bugged or bothered unnecessarily by those wanting to be promoted. By this I mean do not ask more than once and respect their decision. Ye may keep asking if you do not get a response but once a response has been given ye need to honor it and drop the issue. Also we sometimes compare notes on who has asked. If I find out you have been "officer shopping" for promotion I promise you I will demote you and you will not be promoted till I, and only I, determine ye are ready.
We have 2 ships for use by our officers who do not have a ship of their own. These ships are initially empty. I will allow any officer to use them. They can stock them to the amount they desire prior to going out on them. All PoE won is theirs to keep including the restocking cut. Just ask any fleet officer or above to help if ye need help getting the restocking cut out of the coffers. You do not have to restock these 2 ships only. They are the Agile Bass and the Agile Pike. Have fun mates and earn some PoE! Make sure to leave these ships only on habited islands. Preferably Lima Island, Kirin Island, Prolix Purlieu, Terra Island, Sakejima Island, Harmattan Island, Corona Reef, Dendrite Island, or Dragon's Nest. Try not to leave them anywhere else if at all possible. Thanks mates and have fun with them.
Fleet Officer
All solids in piracy skills listed for officer and solid in Navigation puzzle. Held officer status in our crew for at least a week. Gave pillaged on at least 5 occasions within the past month prior to asking for promotion and be able to prove this by providing the name of ship or ships used and dates for each pillage, as I will check the records to see how ye did.
Requirements can be waived with my approval and may be waived for new crew members that join with prior fleet officer or above experience. For these pirates I may require name of crew and captain served under to obtain a recommendation of character. Senior officers do not promote to this rank until ye receive my approval or until they have met all of the listed requirements above. All new members must be approved by myself, or Cordova before promotion to any rank above officer. And I am asking that any promotion to this rank be followed up with a crew posting by the SO doing the promoting so I know who has promoted who. If this is not done I may demote any newly promoted fleet officers until I find out more about them.
Senior Officer
By my appointment only. May be recommended by other Senior Officers but must have my approval to gain the rank. Please do not ask for a recommendation from them for promotion to this rank unless ye ask them privately, and even if they recommend ye that does not mean ye will automatically be considered for promotion. Because this is a very important position within my crew, I have many things to consider before promoting someone to this rank. I tend to allow my SO's to do as they feel best for the crew so I only promote those individuals that I have come to know and trust in their leadership abilities. Patience, loyalty, respect of others, maturity of character, trustworthiness, and a generally good attitude while playing the game are among some of the things I am looking for. Please do not be a bug about promotion to this position as it will only hurt your chances of getting promoted. Promotion is determined only by me, not by you or how much you bug me about it. I occasionally go through the list of Fleet Officers in the crew looking for a good candidate for SO. If there is someone I don't know who has been a fleet officer for quite a while I will ask the other Senior Officers about them and base my decision for promotion accordingly. Bottom line, be nice to the other Senior Officers as they may be your only chance for promotion within the crew. And they could be the only reason you are not getting promoted as I do sometimes ask them about other pirates in the crew, even those that are on when I am on.
Captain
Nice try but there is only one captain allowed and that is me.
