Lists of all crew vessels are not considered wiki material, as they are impossible for anyone outside of that particular crew to keep up to date. This goes against the spirit of the wiki in the openness. Also, the other edits I made are simply formatting edits to give the page uniformity with other crew pages. When you moved things around, you didn't keep any of the wiki links or other formatting that is standard across articles. Also, I switched the "history" section to the top because we generally attempt to begin articles with what the subject of the article is about. --Fannon 21:40, 10 April 2006 (PDT)
- I guess that's reasonable, it was intended as a list of ships that are well stocked and open for use, but I guess that'll have to stick the list on the crew forum or some other place. I'm working on getting up to scratch on my wiki formatting skills, I'm reading the Wikipedia:Tutorial. In fact, I just learned how to do an external link :p --Kryptknight 22:12, 10 April 2006 (PDT)
- Ahoy! Glad to have you helping out. A tip: If you're linking to Wikipedia, you can actually do this -- Tutorial. It's a special thing when linking to that wiki. Notice that it doesn't have the little arrow symbol that your link does. --Barrister 22:27, 10 April 2006 (PDT)
- That's interesting, [[Wikipedia:Help:Tutorial|Wikipedia article]] also works on the Homestar Runner wiki, I suppose all wikis running on MediaWiki have that function, since Wikipedia is a MediaWiki project. --Kryptknight 19:46, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
