Remove need to replace spaces
The need to manually replace spaces by underscores could be made obsolete by (ab)using the {{localurl: magicword as in User:Alfwyn/Sandbox/Template:de. This method would break, should the url for the wikipages change (to something like http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/en/Pagename for example), but this is unlikely as it would break all external references to YPPedia pages too.
Examples:

German article: Orion Archipel (Opal)
{{User:Alfwyn/Sandbox/Template:de|Orion_Archipel_(Opal)}}
German article: Orion_Archipel_(Opal)
