History
Scorpion Island was originally located on the Malachite Ocean. A sleeping turtle to the left of the dock has this inscription: "This island were fashioned by Drake."
Scorpions are eight-legged carnivorous arthropods - they are arachnids, like spiders and ticks. They have a stinger in their tail which they use to inject venom when threatened. The island itself resembles a scorpion.
