Outis is a pirate who sails the Midnight Ocean. He is an officer in the crew of Legally Drunk, under the flag of Under The Influence.
Biography
Outis washed ashore on Jorvik Island sometime in 2005. He lived there for the next few years with no official residence, not even a shack. Almost all of the money he earned from odd jobs and the occasional blockade was given away to various pirates. He seemed content to own nothing but an old sword and a set of white rags.
When the Foraging puzzle came out, he became a professional beachcomber. One of the crews he frequently jobbed with was Legally Drunk; their wages were fair and their officers always courteous. Near the end of 2008, he asked to join them and was accepted. He relocated to Epsilon Island and bought a cabin there - a rootless wanderer no more.
He is a skilled carpenter, plying his trade at sea and as a shipwright. He's worked in every kind of stall and shoppe there is, at least for a while.
Notes
- He received the gold cat "Vargas" and a Jeweled North Star pin from his grateful crew after donating a statue of the Brigand King (carried off during a raid on the Cursed Isles) to decorate the crew's estate.
