Mercen

Mercen was once a pirate on the Cobalt Ocean. He was named after the infamous Mercen Rusyata, and was a cabin person of the crew Southern Cross Keepers. He was also a member of the flag Eureka. Unfortunately, his character has since gone dormant, or has been deleted.

Although the Y!PP characters all appear to be the same age, Mercen portrays the character of a grouchy middle-aged man, known to tell other players to get off of his lawn and make references to the age-old line of children not respecting their elders. He also appears to have a zero-tolerance policy with those who display a lack of manners or courtesy; often angrily challenging prospective sellers who will not take no for an answer. Ironically however he has set his home to allow anyone to enter, stating "If you're that bored then I daresay looking around my humble abode won't help you much anyway". However he also states that if he happens across any uninvited guests he will instantly challenge them; but this is most likely due to simply wanting an excuse to challenge players to a swordfight.

Aside from the colored name that appears above the heads of all pirates, Mercen can be recognised by his pale-white skin and equally white dreadlock hairstyle. He also currently owns a pet rat named Hana, which is Japanese for flower.
