Knot on Yer Life was formed on July 13, 2005. Its founder was Badsplice, formerly Endershadow of The Yellow Turbans. Halfhitch, the first senior officer of Knot on Yer Life, was formerly Yoshei of The Yellow Turbans. The crew was founded to be mostly a pillaging crew and started with few ships and no shoppes to its name. It grew fast early on with a bit of luck and a lot of good mates. After being accepted into Silver Dawn, the crew opened a furnisher stall on Eta Island under Badsplice's name.
Recently, Knot on Yer Life has opened an iron monger stall and a distillery stall on Guava Island. The iron monger is managed by Bowline, while the distillery is run by Yellowshanks. The crew is currently considering an apothecary and other purchases, as well as focusing on pillaging once again.
The crew merged into the Screaming O's around April 15, 2006.
