Impetus is a crew on the Meridian Ocean, formerly of the Viridian Ocean. Originally Councilium Imperium, Impetus was eclectically derived from various crew merges, brought about by Gotkevlar. The final merge (Councilium Imperium with The Altar of Heroes) reunited Gotkevlar with one of his best friends on Viridian, Sumprimus. Another prominent merge was with the Puzzlers of Paradigm, which Gotkevlar considers a major turning point of his Puzzle Pirate career. Impetus first reached Eminent on the 25th of December.
Public Statement
A desire can overcome all objections and obstacles, but without a strong force behind it, it never come to pass.
Rules
- Never EVER leave a sf or a rumble without a valid reason.
- Only officers with Solid/Distinguished in Bnav, and Respected+ in SF may take a ship out to pillage without an SO or the Captain.
- The captain and senior officers do not expect it to be a problem, but please do not leave ANY ships out at sea. If you an officer going to run a pillage, please be sure that you have at least a full hour's time.
Promotion Standards
Even if you meet the criterion of promotion, remember, a lot of it is subjective. Please note that we WILL NOT recruit anybody outside of the crew ABOVE the rank of Officer, unless the captain and all of the SO's fully approve of it.
- Cabin person - Join the crew!
- Pirate - When a cabin person gets his/her first Broad or Solid, they are promoted to pirate. If the person gets the same stat to Distinguished, the person will be highly recommended. Also, the person needs to sail with the crew. Not too hard, but a good way to start off your way in this crew.
- Officer - The applicant pirate will need at least four broads, and 3 Distinguisheds to become an officer. Having a ship is definitely recommended. The applicant must know how to bnav, and the applicant will need Distinguished or higher in Swordfighting.
- The ranks of fleet officer and senior officer are private, and can only be view if you join the crew.
