Cortaire
Cortaire is a pirate on the Malachite, Viridian, Hunter, Sage, Midnight, and Cobalt oceans.
Biography
Cortaire began his pirate life in the winter of 2005. From those early, humble beginnings until December 2007, Cortaire existed as Juandifico on the Sage ocean. (For that former part of his biography, click on the link. For the latter part, stick around.) In June 2008, after school was let out, Juandifico was resurrected as Cortaire. Wishing to leave his past behind, Cortaire was created on the month old Malachite ocean. There, he stumbled upon Nattee and Biote of Aventurine. He settled in and zealously decided to see if he still had "it". He realized he did, as shortly after he won two colored familiars in the 2008 Summer Olympics, one for Gunning and another for Hammer Time, (a combination of carpentry and blacksmithing). Cortaire greatly enjoyed his time on Malachite that summer. As part of the flag Naughty Nerds, he enjoyed camarederie as he had never before in the game. He developed friendships with many a pirate; too many to name, in fact. After school restarted in September 2008, however, Cortaire could be seen less and less frequently on Malachite. By January 2009, he stopped logging on altogether. Since that time, he has rarely been seen, logging on only once in a while to see how things are going. Some time during the summer of 2009, he had the heart to attempt a comeback, but the game had simply changed too much. Yet, as the year refreshed, and 2010 was ushered in, Cortaire could be seen again, lurking around the four "green" oceans, Hunter, Malachite, Sage, and Viridian.
