Category talk:Outdated flag information

No longer updating?

I first started updating the entries for this Category in mid-September. Then I started looking through my contributions and clicked on some of the flags I updated and it's automatically marked as Category:Outdated flag information on their flag pages but not automatically placed here..? This might be a global issue of some sort. I've discovered a similar issue occurring with the Outdated tags category I added to {{misnamed image}} ^(Usage), freshly moved images do not appear in the category at all, even though they should. --Thunderbird 19:18, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Here's a thought. Maybe it's to do with the date. Maybe it doesn't register if it's past a certain date, like sometime in 2012? Gunnerfreak on Cerulean 21:30, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Unlikely, as the examples I was running into had nothing to do with the date. Whatever is caching the information isn't updating correctly. --Thunderbird 22:03, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

There have been weird caching issues for a while. Once in a great while, the new version of an image won't show up till the next day no matter how many times I force a browser refresh, or a template change won't propagate right away. Fortunately I only run into it once every few months. Not sure if it's related to the category hijinks or not. --Budclare2 03:23, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello, looks like an entry has appeared... Should I use a Master Ball and make it go away? :P Okay, seriously. It took from the 12th of October until sometime today or before. More entries, ahoy! Hmm.... Seems to be updating itself only at the start of every month, with random articles.... These three were all last updated in October.... Gunnerfreak on Cerulean 17:04, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
