La Navidad is a flag on the Sage Ocean, created on the 28th of October 2006.
Public Statement
In Christmas Eve in 1492, the crew of the Santa Maria retired below deck after two days of exhausting holiday revelry. Left at the tiller was the cabin boy, who ran the ship onto a reef off the coast of Haiti. Columbus built a fort from the timbers of the shipwreck, called the settlement La Navidad in honor of Christ's birth and left 39 men until his promised return. When he came back a year later, the fort was burned and all the men were dead.
