Titled is one of the four positions in a flag. This position carries no additional power above that of a flag member beyond being listed as titled in the flag information page. To be promoted to a titled position, a player must be an officer or higher in a crew.
Male titled players are listed as "lords." Female titled players are "ladies."
In some crews, the senior officer with the title of first mate is selected to be the titled representative in the flag. However there is no game play restriction concerning this aspect.
