Weiss
Weiss the Madd, as he is known, is a randomly active member of the Silver Dragons and joined them in late April of 2005 during the crew's rough start. Before the Silver Dragons, he never joined a crew before, trying to make it on his own, but found this road to be fraught with frustration. After finishing a jobbing mission with Skidder, he was invited to the Silver Dragons and never looked back since. He has fought with in almost every major battle as a saboteur for the Silver Dragons and is responsible for causing the sinking of several ships but luckily sustained no injuries.
A very good Treasure Drop player and a fair swordsman, Weiss makes up for his lack of skill with his unnerving guile and wit honed from countless years on the sea.
Biography
Weiss the Madd is an albino from the Ottoman Empire who after being tired of living in poverty, joined in on his first Privateering vessel named the Angry Ling. After his first successful pillage of a Spanish vessel, he became addicted and never looked back. His obsession with gambling, however, kept him far from wealthy until, unlike most pirates, Weiss became old. At 60, he decided his tom-foolery should stop and he should try to live in reasonable comfort.
That's with two D's, mate.
Many people accidentally name him as "Mad" when Madd is his actual last name. This family name is also very odd because it also mimics older Romantic last names similar to da Vinci. This was started by his grandfather who, as an English sympathizer, thought it best to show this by making their last name more English. Sadly, his grandfather mistook one concept of Italian last names and added it to what he thought of as a more "English" last name. This is also where the extra D was placed.
