Avatar image tagging

You're on the right track. The {{Avatar|Thaelo|Tigerhunter}} thing is what needs to go on the page, not just in the Summary field when you edit the image page. Thanks! --Guppymomma 19:10, 2 November 2006 (PST)

---I've tried several times to fix the Tigerhunter picture, including trying to re-upload it to no avail. I am very confused by the instructions and took me a lot of trial and error to get the images to display at all! Help!? ~Thaelo

Reuploading the image does NOT change the text on the page. Just edit the image's page and replace {{Avatar-Thaelo-tigerhunter.jpg}} with {{Avatar|Thaelo|Tigerhunter}}. For future avatar uploads you should put the image tag (in this case {{Avatar|Thaelo|Tigerhunter}}) in the upload summary. Again, this will only work the very first time you upload a file. If you want to change the text later, you will need to edit the image page. --Guppymomma 20:20, 2 November 2006 (PST)
