Piratemoose article
Greetings! In regards to your request on the Piratemoose article, I must explain that YPPedia operates on the principle that individuals do not "own" articles. Pirate pages, along with crew and flag pages, island articles, etc., belong to the community. In this respect, they often function as historical records, and so we have a policy to preserve relevant information, rather than deleting it. For this reason, the articles about your pirates will be preserved. Your pirate has not been deleted; it seems to be the same pirate that is documented in the article. If this pirate would be deleted in the future, we would simply add a notation to that effect along with the approximate date. You are certainly welcome to add details of your retirement or any other relevant information to the article. Thanks, and fair winds! Chupchup 21:33, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

- This pirate is old 10+ and there is no reason to hold so dearly on to a page that I wish to have removed. I no longer have access to the account to delete the pirate. If I could delete the character I would but it’s eternally saved. - Hartymoose —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hartymoose (talk • contribs) 08:49, 28 July 2021
- Hi. It's also bad etiquette to edit/delete/refactor your comments after they've been seen/acknowledged. Use
strikeoutmarkup instead. Thanks. Chupchup 00:03, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
