Multiple Small Edits

Ahoy there! And welcome to the YPPedia. Always nice to have a new editor. Just a quick word of advice. When editing a page, it is generally proper and easier if you preview the edits you are making and ensure that the page is as complete as you like it before you finalize the edit. When doing lots of small little finalized edits, like the 12 on the page you just completed Faetality, each and every one shows up on the recent changes and can throw someone looking for a specific edit off. The preview button is your friend. It has prevented me from publicizing many a mistake. Happy editing and once again, welcome to the wiki! --Muffynz 23:22, 7 January 2007 (PST)

Messages on Your Talk Page

Ahoy once again! Just to let you know, messages left for wiki users on their talk pages are considered historical documentation on a wikipedia and are generally not to be outright deleted. Messages can be archived on a user sub-page no problem but outright deletion of anything on a talk page is considered a wikipedia faux pas. I've returned my original message to where it was for now although it is your prerogative to completely delete it again if you so wish. It would be my recommendation not to as that sometimes can reflect badly on an editor to see that messages were deleted. No one except people meaning to leave you messages sees these pages anyway. A couple of my messages from admins are quite embarrassing but I keep them around to helpfully remind me what not to do. Don't let this hinder your burgeoning wiki career however, get out there and explore all the fun articles we have to edit. Once again, happy editing and good luck on the YPPedia! --Muffynz 23:56, 7 January 2007 (PST)
