User talk:D4rk0n3

From YPPedia

Ahoy! Before changing a widely-used template, please start a discussion on the corresponding Talk page (In this case, Template talk:Infobox flag.) When you changed the flag infobox, you broke all the pages that use it. There's about 200 pages that would need to be fixed if you want to add royalty members to the template. In the meantime, we've reverted your change. --Barrister 15:46, 14 March 2006 (PST)

Warning

Do not delete sections from articles. It is considered vandalism, and you will be blocked if you do it again. --Thunderbird 15:24, 12 June 2006 (PDT)

You were warned, you ignored the warning, so you are now blocked for one month. See you in 30 days. --Ponytailguy 15:45, 12 June 2006 (PDT)
The fad page is dedicated to cataloging past forum fads in an encyclopedic manner. If you have an issue with how it is handled, then feel free to raise the issue on its talk page. Editing an article's body text like that will be considered vandalism. (Oopsie, too late: Well, for when he gets back...) --Emufarmers 15:46, 12 June 2006 (PDT)

Yellow rat

Apologies for recoloring your rat. Prior to today, I'd not yet seen an actual yellow rat, and really thought that all the ones considered 'yellow' were the beige color. Should all be sorted out now. --AtteSmythe 11:56, 3 September 2006 (PDT)

Copyright violations

You have one more day to address the copyright violation for Image:DefineMuff.png. Otherwise, it will be deleted. --Barrister 17:34, 9 September 2006 (PDT)

Please learn the difference between copyright and public domain. But I am guessing everyone associated with this wiki is a copyright lawyer. I would discuss this further, but I realize the futility in trying to make points with people who believe they have penultimate power when the fact of the matter is, they really have nothing better to do. --Dark0n3 10:34, 11 September 2006 (PDT)

If you're a copyright lawyer, and so familiar with those terms (don't you mean fair use?), you should have defended the use of the image during the time its deletion was proposed, rather than make snarky comments after it's deleted. As you're probably right that most of the people maintaining this wiki are not lawyers, we should naturally err on the side of caution, removing questionable inclusions, rather than permitting them. --AtteSmythe 11:00, 11 September 2006 (PDT)
As a matter of fact, I am a lawyer, licensed to practice in California, and educated in copyright law. I will happily PM you my license number, if you wish. --Barrister 14:22, 11 September 2006 (PDT)

OM doll thanks!

Thanks for uploading all the new oceanmaster dolls with the proper file names and everything. It made the OM trinket template work automatically, and saved me a bundle of work. Thanks! --AtteSmythe 11:33, 18 October 2006 (PDT)
