This is a notice that we consider some of your edits to be vandalism. This means you're adding nonsense to pages, duplicating existing content, removing useful content, breaking cosmetic elements of pages, or otherwise vandalizing the Y!PPedia. A few specific notes...
- I have restored the cleanup tags to every single page that you have edited today. Please do not remove them until all of the requirements have been met.
- Just because a flag, crew or pirate no longer exists is not a valid reason for blanking a page.
If you are looking for ways to improve the Yppedia, I would recommend you have a read through the Yppedia:Policies and guidelines and the Yppedia:Editors' Code of Conduct before you continue to edit pages. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 15:40, 30 November 2007 (PST)
Edit Frequency
Ahoy! I was going through the recent changes, and I ran across the edits to Impetus. If you'd like to see the page history, take a look here, and I think you can see why it's sticking out at me :-/. I don't want to discourage you from editing, because it's good to see you putting so much effort into improving this page... but it's always good wiki practice to get into using the Preview button instead of just posting stuff directly, because that way you know if you like what you're about to post before you actually do, so you can catch things like spelling/grammar, line breaks, formatting, and so on without having to waste time and effort making tons of minor edits. In any event, welcome to the YPPedia, and good luck in future! -- Cedarwings (t/c) 22:54, 25 December 2007 (PST)
Table of Contents
I was just wondering how you add in the Table of Contents. How do you do that?
- As long as a user has not disabled it, Table of Contents are automatically displayed on pages with 3 or more headings. If you wish to force a table of contents to display or be hidden, there are a few Wikipedia:Help:Magic words that can be used. Have a look at the Magic words page for some information and also at the Wikipedia:Help:Section for some additional information on Table of Contents. Hope this helps. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 15:49, 28 December 2007 (PST)
