Thanks fer helping to update things, but I'm not sure if we need to link those articles to each other in the main body of text, because the navigational wheel already links them. Anybody else's thoughts? --Emufarmers 20:50, 23 May 2006 (PDT)

Uh. This is harmful to the integrity of the wiki how, exactly? --Ponytailguy 20:55, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
Er...No way in particular. I just thought we didn't link to the same thing more than once in an article as a matter of policy. (Does a navigational tool or what have you count?) --Emufarmers 20:56, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
If that's a policy, I've never heard of it. --Ponytailguy 21:01, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
I'm pretty sure it is: I see Barrister going through and cleaning up duplicate links all the time (I looked at his contributions for a few seconds and came up with this as an example.) The one bit I'm not sure about is whether or not you can link to an article twice if the first link is a part of a navigation wheel-table-thingie. --Emufarmers 21:07, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
Navigation features are excepted, and I would further suggest that this is a matter that really shouldn't be raised on the user's talk page as if they've done something wrong. If they've made a mistake this minor, just fix it. :-/ --Ponytailguy 21:12, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
Yeah, now I feel bad about this (I only brought it to a talk page because I wasn't sure of the part with the nav guide). My apologies to Beranius. --Emufarmers 21:16, 23 May 2006 (PDT)

Just to summarize, Ponytailguy has correctly expressed the way things usually work. Navigation tools don't count toward the links in the body of an article. --Barrister 00:16, 24 May 2006 (PDT)
